When it comes to social media, it's safe to say that parents are usually a few steps behind. But every now and then, they catch up - and it can be both hilarious and cringe-worthy. Such was the case when my mom discovered TikTok and decided to try her hand at the "Renegade" dance.

I have to admit, watching my mom attempt the Renegade was both funny and adorable. She was so determined to get the moves right, and even enlisted my help to film her. We spent hours practicing, laughing, and getting tangled up in each other's limbs. But as the hours wore on, it became clear that my mom was never going to master the Renegade. She kept forgetting the steps, tripping over her own feet, and accidentally hitting me in the face with her flailing arms. It was a disaster, but we had a blast trying. In the end, I learned that it's okay to laugh at yourself and not take things too seriously. Watching my mom try to Renegade reminded me that even as we get older, we can still have fun and enjoy the little things in life - even if we look a little silly doing it
