As someone who has always been a bit of a makeup enthusiast, I was excited to try out the latest TikTok makeup trend. The trend involved applying a bright, bold eyeshadow color to the entire lid, up to the brow bone.

I chose a bright green shade and carefully applied it to my lids, blending it out as I went. When I was finished, I stepped back to admire my work, but what I saw in the mirror made me cringe. I looked like a clown. The bright green eyeshadow was overwhelming and unflattering, and my attempts to tone it down only made it worse.
